Box Social is a piece of Open Source Social Networking software written in C# for the Mono .net framework platform.
The project exists to develop the software that powers ZinZam, but can be freely used by anyone. In fact you are using it right now.
Box Social doesn't currently make formal releases, but there is a Mercurial repository online that you can download the current state of the software from.
